The EMGS has over the past years offered its members talks on a wide variety of topics. These range from practical talks on ‘Encouraging Wildlife in your garden’, ‘Poinsettias the history and how to grow and care for them’, ‘The Herbaceous Border – History',' Planning and Planting’, 'The Wonder of Bees'

We have also had talks on Places of interest including the Scottish Hightlands, The Grace and Favour Gardens in West Horsley and the History of Squires Garden Centres and many more. There has also been many travel talks. As a trial in November 2018 we held a quiz night and then in April 2019 we had a mini spring flower show. These 2 events were a great success. We welcome suggestions from members for lectures and will do our best to facilitate all suggestions.

The meetings are held at the St. Nicholas Church Hall, Summer Road, Thames Ditton, Surrey KT7 0QQ,

Entrance fee is £2.00. for members and £3.00 for non members, this includes a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit.

Dates for 2025 Talks can be found on our home page, Whats New/Coming up.

Look forward to seeing you there.
